Cube Steaks With Gravy 6 Beef Cube Steaks 1/3 Cup Flour 1 T Oil 1 Large Onion - Cut Into Rings 3 Cups Water - Divided 1 Envelope Brown Gravy Mix 1 Envelope Onion Gravy Mix Place flour in large resealable plastic bag. Add steaks a couple at a time and shake til completely coated in flour. In large skillet cook steaks in oil til lightly browned on both sides. Tranfer to crockpot and add onion and 2 cups of the water. Cover crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours or til meat tender. In bowl, wisk together gravy mixes with the one cup of remaining water. Add to slow cooker & cook for 30 minutes longer. Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
