During the summer of 2011, Dr. Frisby’s class studied warfare and public memory in Europe, including a visit to the D-Day Beaches of Normandy, France.

In 2009 and 2010, Dr. Frisby’s classes explored the bunkers, beaches, and caves of Peleliu, one of the Pacific’s bloodiest battles.
